Rear seat climate control does nothing in general if you go to the rear setting in main module up front and hit 'off', then wait for front controls to re-emerge. Everyone realizes you can spec real exhausts with no extra cost, right?! Audi just gives you the choice because some people don’t like the carbon build up. That’s actually smart from Audi not stupid, so don’t be so quick to judge.

Hey Doug, have you noticed the second set of tail lights are the "rear fog lights". They are incandescent bulbs so they don't freeze over and become invisible. Very handy for being seen in snow storms.

I also wanted to make a note about the GPS. Audi assumed people didn't use "their" GPS. Since they didn't have a touch screen and their dial was very cumbersome so people used their phone. Now they have touch screen and they remove the GPS. Duh!

The Porsche Macan is the same chassis as the Q5, want an RSQ5? Just get a Macan Turbo with the RS5’s 2.9L twin-turbo V6. I might add that in the future when theses cars are cheaper, I’m sure there will be engine swaps of the 2.9L into the SQ5.

The whole front end looks ugly. Looks like a Hyundia Palisade. It’s nice that Audi started doing touch screen but still can’t get use to the “stuck on” ipad look. The Q3 has a really nice dashboard. My wife has a 2018 Q5 and I’m surprised that the center console storage area still sucks. Can’t slide it to get into the storage cubby under the arm rest if you have a bottle of water or travel mug.

The buick 6 port holes thru the fender confused me when the car had a v8. The plastic fake exhaust ports will be even more sad after its all electric. At this price no navigation is ideal. Just buy a ten year old gamin from someone shopping garage sales for ebay.

I could almost live with the tailpipes, though it was very disappointing, but the wireless pad that slides under the centre was also very badly thought out (just using it once and having to take yours and your passengers coffee cup out of there, using both hands, coffee spilling everywhere...just to charge your f*&k#n phone?!...would kill it for me). I’m part German but this is almost embarrassing!

The lower set of lights in the rear are also functional as backup, if a regular rear light is broken. Saw one shortly, that had one rear light on the tailgate working and the other side had the lower one working.
